- Explore the shoreline to look for fossils and geodes, it’s free!
- Visit the Mill Springs National Historic Battlefield and take the free driving tour.
- Conley Bottom Marina offers a pontoon rental for 4 for $100 per day which includes a grill on board for lunch or dinner.
- Hiking at Cumberland Falls and Big South Fork Recreation Area is free.
- Horseback riding, canoe trips, or BSFSRY train rides are affordable family fun.
- Plan a “free” day to swim and fish off the dock at Lost Lodge. If you don’t bring or rent a boat, renting or bringing rafts and floats for use off the dock in the Lake is cheap fun!

Thanks for sharing this information. I really like your way of expressing the opinions and sharing the information. It is good to move as chance bring new things in life, paves the way for advancement, etc. But it is well known to everyone that moving to new location with bulk of goods is not an easy task to move or shift from one place to other place because I have experienced about that and I face the problem like that. There I go to village near to my city faced that problem there.

My husband and I have stayed at Lost Resort and highly recommend kayakng on the many rivers and streams in the area. He spent all 4 days on several of the areas waterways. The scenery is beautiful, the boaters and locals are very friendly and helpful,the fishing was excellent, and we enjoyed meeting folks at The Kayak Store at Boat N Stuff in Somerset, and the folks at Sheltowee Trace Outfitters. We have been back tot eh area 3 times this summer and are planning another trip next week.
