Poker Run (Sept 11-13)
Poker run is extreme boat racing with the spirit of Mardi Gras. People come from all around for festivities on the lake. They take over the State Dock facility in Jamestown. Many people who attend the event join us at Lost Lodge and head down during the festivities, but back to their cabin in the evening. You can find out more at http://www.lakecumberlandpokerrun.net.

Known for attracting participants from all over the country, the Poker Run has some of the largest, fastest boats you will ever see on any lake.
If you're not familiar with this popular event, it's time to get you acquainted. The Poker Run is held on an approximate 130 mile course. Each boat entered must make five stops (at other marinas) along the course to pick up a sealed envelope containing a playing card. Upon completion of the Poker Run, the cards are turned in to the organizers who then open the five envelopes and displays them to all the participants. Prizes are awarded to the top four poker hands.
In the past, this event has even been covered by ESPN. With hundreds of powerboats roaring down the lake at the same time, it's a sight you have to see to believe!
